Stephen Folkers is releasing a new Album named „Oriental Love“.
The singer and actor discovered in 2006 his heart for oriental music. During a journey through Pakistan he fell in love with Popsongs that have been played on the local MTV Channel.
Meanwhile he was performing several times on Pakistani Festivals in Germany. As a white western singer, performing Popsongs in Urdu, he is quite unique – and indeed – as far as we know, there is no other doing so.
Stephen is proofing the fact that this language that sounds so unfamiliar to us and the unaccustomed melodies are pleasant for our Central European ears as well. 3 out of the 11 songs are sung in Urdu but English pieces of course are featured, too!
